Joyce Towers


	Joyce Towers British author who is in reality a donkey book author rather than a pony book author, as all of her four children's stories are about donkeys! As I haven't read them I am not sure if they are all part of a series or are stand-alones. At least one of them is set in Norfolk. If anyone has more information about the author and her books I would love to hear from you.


	Horse & Pony Books: Okay these are actually all donkey stories! THE SEASIDE DONKEY FIRST EDITION BROCKHAMPTON 1964 ILLUSTRATED BY JANE PATON THE FLOWER GARDEN DONKEYS FIRST EDITION BROCKHAMPTON 1965 ILLUSTRATED BY JANE PATON THE WINTER DONKEY (FIRST EDITION BROCKHAMPTON 1966) ILLUSTRATED BY JANE PATON THE HOLIDAY CAMP DONKEYS FIRST EDITION BROCKHAMPTON 1967 ILLUSTRATED BY JANE PATON Collectors info: I don't think any of these were ever reprinted. The Winter Donkey appears to be slightly the easiest title to find of the four, The Flower Garden Donkeys the rarest. But whilst they are not common books, none of them are really very hard to track down in the UK. The books can also be found in the USA and Australia but are usually a bit more expensive there.
